‘’Every day, at least three times a day, you need a farmer.’’

Red Tractor have been proud partners of Thankful for Farmers for over two years now, a partnership that enables our brand and our customers to give back to our farmers right across Australia. This partnership is one of immense importance as it allows us to recognise and thank our farmers for all of their incredible work right throughout the year, but also sees our donations and 90% of the funds generated through Thankful for Farmers contribute to the various programs that fund initiatives to support and assist the agricultural and rural communities in Australia.

Our four core oats products each support the Thankful for Farmers initiative, with 5c from every pack sold being donated. To date, Red Tractor has proudly sold over 1,500,000 bags of oats partnered with Thankful for Farmers and have therefore donated over $85,000 and we are excited to see this number continue to grow.

The contributions of Red Tractor so far have helped to support three key Thankful for Farmers initiatives:

• Foundation for Rural Regional Renewal to Build Drought Resilience
• Soils for Life to create an educational film ASA resource to highlight the importance of soil for agriculture, the environment and the economy
• Royal Flying Doctor Service to support regional and rural mental health and wellness, specifically developing and distributing the resource ‘Mental Health on the Land’
